Indiana experienced catastrophic rainfall and flooding in August of 2026. As a church, we believe in Compassionate Generosity. That means that we are generous with our L.I.F.E (Labors, Influences, Finances, Expertise). If you desire to assist these families and communities in need you can designate your special gift as “Flood Response.” Your gift will be forwarded to our regular partner for disaster relief IDES (International Disaster Emergency Service).
Many people in our church family have friends, family, and/or grew up in the impacted communities around us. We have complied a list of the surrounding communities and how you can support them in this time of need. The list will be updated as new opportunities comes to light.
Cambridge City, IN
Cambridge city Christian Church has become the hub of support for the city right now. They have three areas of needs:
1. Monetary donations to purchase immediate supplies, they can do that by following this link: https://4c.churchcenter.com/giving
2. People are just now starting to get into their homes and the elderly are asking for help to assess the situation. This would be an opportunity for people to be boots on the ground.
3. They are providing meals for all of the volunteers at the moment. They are anticipating they might need more manpower for people to help process needs and serve food at the church during the day for the next couple of weeks.
