Jr. high is tough. It makes it even tougher when students seek to find their identity outside of who God says they are. At Nexus it is our desire that every jr. high student knows who they are as God defines them. We seek to accomplish this goal through biblical teaching and small group environments.

High School Ministry
In high school many students begin to ask important life questions like: What should I do? Who should I be? What do I believe? We believe that God has a plan for the life of every student. Through biblical teaching and small group discussions, we hope that together we can help students discover the plan that God has for their life.
Intersect is a weekly program for 9th through 12th grade students that
-meets on Sunday nights 6pm - 7:30 pm during the school year
-offers a hangout from 5pm - 6pm that has an open gym, intimate small group games, interactive large group games, tons of different video games, and much more
-highlights biblical teaching and small group discussions with high school students.

Girls Campfire Sessions
Who: Girls 4th grade - 12th grade, and their mom/female guardian.
When: May 22nd, June 26th, July 31st @ 6:30-7:30 PM
Where: Park Chapel at the fire pit by the kitchen parking lot (southeast parking area)
Why: Three Campfire Sessions where we will meet around a fire, eat, worship, read scripture, and pray.

Promotion Potluck
Kids and Student Ministries are coming together to celebrate with our second Promotion Potluck! We want to join together for food and fellowship as all our students move up into the next grade in our ministries.

Time: immediately following second service (11:45am -1:30 pm)
Where: PC parking lot
We will be providing the main dishes. We are asking for your help with sides and drinks! If your last name starts with A-H we ask that you bring drinks: soda, juice, bottled water. If your last name starts with I-P we ask that you bring chips or ready to serve fruit. If your last name starts with Q-Z we ask that you bring cookies or other yummy prepackaged desserts.
