Sunday Kids

What to expect on Sunday mornings for nursery - 6th grade

Kids Ministry Mission Statement

Partnering with parents and volunteers in sharing God's Word with the next generation so they may come to know Jesus and grow in a personal relationship with Him.

What classes will reopen?

At this time, nursery and 1 year old rooms will remain closed with the hopes of opening those rooms at a later date.

We will open classes for 2 year olds, 3 year olds, 4/5 year olds, and kindergarten starting Sunday, November 1, 2020 for the 9:00/9:15 service with the hopes of opening for the 11:00 at a later date.

Transit classes - 1st - 6th grade - is currently happening at 9/9:15 service.

What safety protocols will be in place for kids and volunteers?

  • Volunteers will be wearing masks
  • Masks are optional for kids coming into Kids Town, but remain required for Transit kids
  • All Kids Town kids and volunteers will have their temperatures checked at the Check In stations before going into classrooms
  • All volunteers and kids will use hand sanitizer upon entering the classrooms
  • Families will be expected to keep kids home if they have any ill symptoms. Kids should be fever free for 24 hours without medication before coming to Kids Town

Your first visit

At Park Chapel our kids experience safe, age-appropriate environments where they learn about Jesus in a creative and relevant way.

At Kids Check In, we will meet your family, check your child into our system, then one of our volunteers will lead you to their age-appropriate room. You and your child will be given matching name tags exclusive to your family and your visit. Your child will wear the name tag portion while you keep the matching tag. Return to your child’s room and show your tag in order for your child to be released back to you.

Will the Family Room remain open?

Now that classes will be opening, we will be closing the Family Room beginning in November. Families with young kids are welcome to utilize the Meeting Place (near the coffee bar) if they need a space outside of the worship venue during the service.
