Solid Ground | Whispers of Christmas
In the OT, God established a series of festivals, called “feasts”, that he intended his people to celebrate as a lasting ordinance for the generations to come. He did so in order to call his people to a regularly scheduled time of remembrance and celebration of his work in their lives and to recall his covenant commitment to their nation. He also intended for these festivals to serve as visual aids or object lessons to teach the Jewish people about their coming Messiah. We will explore how each of the festival seasons specifically point to Jesus and how his coming fulfills their spiritual significance.

God gives us his peace to know him. If you don’t have the blood on your doorpost then you are God’s enemy. By choosing to apply the blood (Jesus and his sacrifice) you make peace with God, are delivered from your bondage and set free to form an intimate relationship with your Heavenly Father.
