This country of over 76 million people is home to one of the world’s oldest civilizations. Iranians are Persian and take great pride in that heritage. Recent history has often found the country at the center of international tensions. The 1979 Islamic revolution resulted in Iran becoming an Islamic Republic. Iran contains some of the largest unreached, unengaged peoples in the world. These are communities with no known believers. But, the multiplication of churches and Christian resources in Persian and other languages is creating change.
